AFD on a working meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia in charge of economic affairs, coordination with economic departments and investments, Fatmir Bitiqi

On October 16, 2020, representatives of the  Association of Financial Companies of North Macedonia led by the President of the Association, Filip Dimitrovski, met with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia in charge of economic affairs, coordination with economic departments and investments, Fatmir Bitiqi .

The activities and commitments of the Association were presented at the meeting, and the President of the Association gave an overview of the latest developments in the non-banking financial sector, popularly called “FinTech”, the situation and challenges faced by non-banking financial companies in a crisis pandemic with Covid-19, as well as the perspectives for the development of the sector in Northern Macedonia.

As a conclusion of the meeting, the readiness for further cooperation and open dialogue in the direction of continuous information on the situation, trends, and news in the sector of financial companies and building a partnership was confirmed. The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia pointed out that such mutual communication is especially important for recognizing the further challenges for the non-banking financial sector and finding common solutions to the situation.

The Association of Financial Companies remains committed to its mission to create responsible practice, for long-term cooperation and positive evaluation by consumers and market regulation institutions, while explaining to the general public the various opportunities that can be provided by financial companies that use FinTech for the development of individuals and society as a whole.
